Volodimir Olexiouk has a strong background in AI, data analytics, and bioinformatics. Volodimir currently works at BioLizard as the Director of Scientific Engagement, Team Lead for AI & Analytics, and Principal Scientist. In this role, they oversee various projects, provides AI expertise, and ensures alignment with clients' business goals. Prior to this, they were a Senior Bioinformatics and AI expert at BioLizard, where they designed and developed intelligent solutions using machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Before joining BioLizard, Volodimir worked at KPMG Belgium as a Senior Technology Advisor specializing in AI and Advanced Analytics. Volodimir created data-driven solutions for clients across different industries and developed IT infrastructure strategies to ensure seamless integration and efficient utilization of data-driven systems.
Volodimir also has prior experience at UGent, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Associate, Scientific Staff, and PHD Student in Bioinformatics.
Volodimir Olexiouk has a diverse education background. Volodimir completed their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at KULEUVEN from 2009 to 2012. Volodimir then pursued two Master's degrees at KU Leuven, specializing in Bioinformatics from 2012 to 2014 and Information Management from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Deeplearning.AI Tensorflow developer certification from Coursera in 2021 and the IBM AI Engineering and IBM Data Science Specializations from Coursera in 2020.
