Michael Danz

Michael Danz is an accomplished creative professional with extensive experience in art direction and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Group Art Supervisor at Biolumina since March 2017, Michael has progressed through various positions including Art Supervisor and Senior Art Director. In addition to this role, Michael is the NYC Chapter Co-Lead at OPEN Pride Global and holds the position of Design Leader and Social Media Manager at Big Apple Performing Arts since January 2022. Prior to Biolumina, Michael contributed as a Freelance Art Director at mcgarrybowen and completed internships at iris Worldwide and Duffy & Shanley. Michael's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Creative Advertising from Johnson & Wales University, where involvement as a Resident Assistant also demonstrated early leadership skills. Notable contributions include work on high-profile accounts such as Burt’s Bees and Samsung, showcasing a strong ability to deliver compelling creative solutions.
