Stephen A. Shinsky, PhD, BCMAS has an extensive education history in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. Stephen A. began their academic journey at the University of Tampa, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Biology in 2011.
Motivated by a strong interest in research, Shinsky pursued further studies and enrolled at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University. Here, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree with distinction in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2015.
To enhance their research capabilities, Shinsky engaged in a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2015 to 2016. During this period, their focus areas included Biochemistry and Biophysics, particularly in the study of Cancer Biology.
Building upon their expertise, Shinsky pursued another Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania from 2016 to 2019. This fellowship involved comprehensive research and teaching experiences in Biological Chemistry and Structural Biology.
Furthermore, Shinsky has obtained additional certification as a Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist (BCMAS) from the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA) in December 2020.
