Marco Espinoza currently serves as the Global Head of Quality at BioMar, overseeing quality and food safety across processes, systems, and the organization since October 2020. Prior to this role, Marco engaged in professional development and held the position of Quality, Food Safety, Certifications and Integrated Management System Leader at Cargill from June to September 2020. Marco contributed significantly to Cargill Aqua Nutrition as the Global Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory Leader from July 2016 to May 2020, achieving notable reductions in product rejection rates and enhancing compliance with international standards. Earlier experience includes roles at Cargill Aqua Nutrition and Fundación Chile, where Marco focused on food safety management, integrated management system certification, and quality assurance program implementation. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Food Technology and Quality Assurance from the University of Reading and a degree in Bioquímica from Universidad de Concepción.
