Anne Marie Hickey

Anne Marie Hickey is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in purification and drug substance technologies at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. since March 2015, holding positions from Senior Scientist to Scientist within various purification and MSAT roles. Prior to this, Anne Marie served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Laboratory Manager at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, focusing on bioengineered heparin production and stem cell studies. Additional postdoctoral roles included projects at the University of Exeter on enzyme purification in microfluidic reactors and at University College Dublin, where Anne Marie isolated and purified native enzymes while also teaching. Academic qualifications include a PhD and a BS in Industrial Microbiology from University College Dublin.
