Richie Carmichael serves as the Associate Director of Sales and Marketing for Merck Animal Health Aqua NORAM since February 2023, overseeing commercial operations for the North America Aqua business and leading several brands, including Biomark and Vaki. Prior to this role, Richie held positions at Merck AH as Associate Director of Technical Services and at Biomark as Senior Scientist, specializing in fisheries and conservation within the Pacific Northwest. Richie's career began in fisheries biology at Quantitative Consultants Incorporated and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, emphasizing habitat surveys and data analysis. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Ecohydraulics from the University of Idaho and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Eastern Washington University.
