Biomedical Solutions is specialist provider of biomedical engineering and related technical services for the healthcare industry. Biomedical Solutions was formed in July 2012 as a family owned and operated business. We now operate a National service network and have established ourselves as a preferred supplier of biomedical engineering and technical services in the public and private healthcare sector. We regularly provide our services to over 150 customers at more than 700 sites around Australia. Our technical services cover the following client equipment and installations by adopting the requirements of the associated Australian Standards: 1. Acceptance, maintenance, repair, safety/performance verification of biomedical equipment to AS/NZS3551 2. Commissioning and routine testing of body/cardiac protected electrical areas to AS/NZS3003 3. Service and validation of Reusable Medical Device (RMD) reprocessing equipment, including steam sterilisers, washer disinfectors, heat sealers, ultrasonic cleaners and drying cabinets to AS/NZS4187 4. Service and testing of medical gas systems to AS2896 5. Testing and tagging of electrical equipment to AS/NZS3760 The scope of our services includes: 1. Scheduled maintenance; routine testing, preventative maintenance and calibration 2. Multi-vendor repairs and corrective maintenance; on-site or at our biomedical workshop, including after-hours 3. Managed services; design and implementation of maintenance strategy and program, including KPI monitoring of response times and equipment compliance levels, with monthly reporting 4. Consulting and advice 5. Supply of preferred medical technology
