Mr. Stefan Fäs has a strong financial and scientific background and joined BioMedPartners in 2010 as the new Group CFO. Prior to BioMedPartners he was a Manager at Helbling Corporate Finance with a focus on turnaround-/interim-CFO engagements and merger & acquisition transactions in the medical technology, healthcare and mechanical engineering sector.
Previously, Mr. Fäs worked for more than four years, finally as an Advisory and Audit Manager, at Ernst & Young in Basel. His clients were mainly Biotech and Life Science companies including many start-ups but also large multi-national companies.
He started his career as an Assistant at UBS Asset Management in Zurich, preparing investment analysis for healthcare companies.
Mr. Fäs holds a Master degree in Biology from the University of Zurich, a second Master degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a degree as certified auditor (CPA).
