Nathaniel Fredin

Nathaniel Fredin is an experienced professional in the field of materials development and research, currently serving as the Director of R&D Materials at Biomerics since July 2016, where responsibilities include leading new material and coating development, managing personnel, and providing technical support for production. Before this, Nathaniel held the positions of R&D Senior Engineer at Fresenius Medical Care and Director of R&D at Biomerics, demonstrating a strong background in project management and product development. Nathaniel's early career included significant research roles at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, focusing on advanced characterization techniques and the physical properties of polyelectrolyte films. Nathaniel earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, complemented by a B.S. in the same field from Brigham Young University.
