Emmanuel Bufflier

Emmanuel Bufflier has over 27 years of experience in the biotechnology and molecular diagnostics fields, currently serving as the Head of Project Management Department at bioMérieux since June 2005, where leadership includes managing a team of eight project managers and overseeing assay and system development for molecular IVD products. Previous roles at bioMérieux include Project Director for Assay & System Development and Project Manager for the development of a Sars-CoV-2 molecular assay range. Emmanuel has extensive experience in international coaching for IVD development, system project management, and coordinating technical activities at the system level. Prior to bioMérieux, positions held include Project and R&D Manager at Apibio and Research Scientist roles at Aventis Crop Science, Orsan Amylum, RHONE POULENC Agro, and GlaxoSmithKline. Emmanuel holds an Engineer degree in Biotechnologies and a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from the University of Strasbourg.
