Justin Keener, Ph.D., currently serves as Associate Director for Sample Preparation in Molecular Biology Research and Development at bioMérieux since January 2022, leading a team focused on advancing sample handling workflows for new molecular diagnostics tests. Prior experience includes a managerial role as Scientist II at BioFire Diagnostics, LLC, continuing from February 2016, and a notable postdoctoral position at the University of Utah from December 2013 to February 2016, where involvement in the Rodger’s lab focused on the angiogenic properties of ADAMTS13. Earlier, Justin Keener contributed as a Research Associate and Graduate Student at the University of Utah's Babst Lab and participated in an anticonvulsant drug development program as a Lab Tech. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Cell Biology as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a Minor in Philosophy from the University of Utah.
