Abbie Francis

Abbie Francis has a strong background in scientific research and has gained experience in various roles and organizations. Abbie is currently working as a Senior Scientist at PYC Therapeutics (ASX: PYC) since November 2022. Prior to this, Abbie served as an Adjunct Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia starting from March 2021. Abbie also worked as a Post Doctoral Research Officer at Telethon Kids Institute from June 2020 to November 2022. Abbie has a previous role as a Research Fellow at Ear Science Institute Australia from February 2019 to June 2020. Abbie began their career as a Research Associate at The University of Western Australia in March 2017 and held the position until February 2019. Abbie Francis completed their Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Biomedical Science as well as their Bachelor of Forensic Science in Forensic Biology and Toxicology from Murdoch University. Abbie attended the university from 2008 to 2011. Later, in 2010 and 2011, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration through the university's MasterClass program. Following this, Abbie Francis enrolled at The University of Western Australia where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Immunology. Abbie completed their PhD from 2013 to 2017.
