Pierre Boulud

Pierre Boulud has extensive experience in leadership roles within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Since November 2016, Pierre has served as the Chief Executive Officer of bioMérieux, also holding positions as Chief Operating Officer for Clinical Operations and as Corporate VP overseeing the Asia Pacific region and strategic planning. Prior to this, from June 2002 to October 2016, Pierre worked at Ipsen, where responsibilities included EVP of Specialty Care Commercial Operations, EVP of Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and Market Access, as well as General Manager of Ipsen Spain. Pierre's earlier career includes roles at The BCG as a project leader and at Bossard Consultants as a consultant. Educationally, Pierre holds an MBA in Finance from ESSEC Business School, completed between 1991 and 1994.
