Dr. Jens Fischbach has a diverse work experience history. Dr. Jens is currently working at BIOMES as the Lead Laboratory & Quality Development - Regulatory Affairs. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung from December 2017 to December 2020. Dr. Fischbach also obtained a qualification as a Quality Management Representative at BUSINESS TRENDS ACADEMY (BTA) GmbH in October-November 2017. Dr. Jens holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Potsdam, which they completed in November 2017.
Before their Ph.D., Dr. Jens Fischbach worked at the Technische Hochschule Wildau, where they held multiple roles. Dr. Jens was a Research Associate in the Lab of Molecular Biotechnology and Functional Genomics from October 2010 to November 2017. Dr. Jens also obtained a Master of Science degree from Technische Hochschule Wildau from September 2008 to September 2010 and a Bachelor of Science degree from September 2005 to August 2008.
Furthermore, Dr. Jens Fischbach has gained early experience through internships at the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung in 2008 and 2007.
Dr. Jens Fischbach obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biosystems Engineering and Bioinformatics from Technische Hochschule Wildau, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Dr. Jens then pursued a Master of Science degree in Biosystems Technology and Bioinformatics at the same institution, completing their studies in 2010.
After gaining practical experience, Dr. Fischbach returned to academia and attended the University of Potsdam from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they earned a doctorate in Biochemistry, receiving the degree of Dr. rer. nat.
In addition to their academic achievements, Dr. Jens Fischbach obtained certification as a Quality Management Representative in DIN EN ISO 9000ff from TÜV NORD GROUP in December 2017.
