Savas Tay

Savas Tay is a prominent academic and entrepreneur currently serving as a Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering and the Institute for Genomics and Systems Biology since June 2016. Additionally, Savas Tay co-founded BiomeSense in January 2018. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at ETH Zurich from March 2011 to June 2016, and completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University in bioengineering, microfluidics, and systems biology from May 2008 to February 2011. Earlier career stages involved working as a Research Associate at the University of Arizona while pursuing graduate studies at the College of Optical Sciences from August 2002 to April 2008, and Savas Tay also contributed to research at the College of Optical Sciences between 2002 and 2007.
