Carlos Sáez Comet

Carlos Sáez Comet is a highly experienced materials and mechanical engineer, currently serving as a PhD specialist in polymers and biopolymers at Biomimicry Iberia since January 2011. With a robust background in product development, Carlos has held leadership positions at MycoWorks and Ananas Anam Ltd, leading teams in innovative project conception and managing product research efforts. Previously, Carlos was an associate professor at ELISAVA, contributing to education in advanced materials. A senior researcher at Eurecat, Carlos was involved in multiple EUH2020 projects and has cultivated expertise in applications ranging from hygiene products at Berry Plastics Corporation to armor solutions at DuPont. Carlos holds a PhD from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and multiple degrees in materials science and mechanical engineering from prestigious Spanish universities.
