Edward Burd

Edward Burd has a strong background in regulatory affairs, with over 30 years of experience in the field. Edward is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at BiomX Inc since March 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Rebiotix as the Head of Regulatory Affairs from July 2017 to March 2020. Edward also served as the Global Regulatory Leader at Allergan from May 2014 to July 2017. Before joining Allergan, Edward worked at AbbVie/Abbott as the Director of Regulatory Affairs from January 2011 to May 2014 and at Amgen as the Director of Regulatory Affairs from February 2009 to December 2011. Edward started their career at Bayer HealthCare, where they worked as the Deputy-Director of Regulatory Affairs from 2002 to 2009. Prior to joining Bayer, Edward held the position of Director of Regulatory Affairs at Maxygen from October 1999 to January 2002. Edward began their career as a Senior Staff Fellow at FDA/CBER in 1992, where they worked until 1999. Throughout their career, Edward has gained extensive experience and knowledge in regulatory affairs, making him a valuable asset in the industry.

Edward Burd completed their education at Virginia Tech, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Microbiology and Immunology from 1978 to 1982.
