Hila Sberro Livnat pursued their education with a focus on the intersection of biology and computer science. Building on this foundation, they went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Developmental Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2003 to 2006. BiomX is developing both natural and engineered phage cocktails designed to target and destroy bacteria that affect the appearance of the skin, as well as harmful bacteria in chronic diseases, such as cystic fibrosis, inflammatory bowel disease, atopic dermatitis, and colorectal cancer.
