Suehyun Cho

Senior Researcher at Bionaut Labs

Suehyun Cho has worked in the field of research since 2010. Suehyun began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they worked in the Nanophotonics Lab from 2011-2018. During their time there, they designed and synthesized nanoclusters for detection and ablation of bladder cancer cells, synthesized plasmonic nanoparticles, upconversion nanophosphors, and indium tin oxide nanoparticles for biomedical sensing and therapy applications, and functionalized nanoparticles with surface modification techniques such as ligand attraction and ligand assembly. In 2018, they began working as a Senior Researcher at Bionaut Labs.

Suehyun Cho obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Maryland between 2006 and 2010. Suehyun then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder between 2010 and 2018.
