James Forrest

James Forrest has extensive work experience in sales and marketing in the biotechnology industry. James started their career at Becton Dickinson as a Sales and Marketing Manager in 1987 and worked there until 1997. James then joined Molecular Devices Corp as the Director of Sales, specializing in drug discovery, from 1997 to 2001. After that, they worked at DiscoveRx as the Director of Sales from 2002 to 2005. James then joined ForteBio as the Director of Sales for North America from 2005 to 2008. Following that, they worked at DiscoveRx again as the Senior Director of Sales for Drug Discovery Services from 2008 to 2009. James then worked at TTP Labtech as Sales and Support for Western North America from 2009 to 2011. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Sales and Marketing at BioNex Solutions, starting from November 2011.

James Forrest obtained a Ph.D. in Applied Biophysics from the University of Strathclyde, completing their studies from 1976 to 1987. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification as a Member of the Institute of Physics from the Institute of Physics in August 1986. James also became a Chartered Physicist through the Institute of Physics in July 1986.
