Casey Boutwell

Casey Boutwell is the current CEO of Bionica Labs. Before that, they were a managing member at RCB Applied Strategies, and before that, an industry liaison officer at NC State University. Casey has dedicated their career to product development and technology commercialization, and has advised on intellectual property protection, licensing strategy, customer discovery, design thinking, and general strategy in the technology space. Casey has also conducted market research and developed outreach campaigns to attract and engage industry partners.

Casey Boutwell has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from North Carolina State University, a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Optics from the University of Central Florida, a Graduate Certificate in Technology Ventures from the University of Central Florida, and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Optics from the University of Central Florida. Casey also has a B.S. in Physics, Mathematics, Astronomy, Writing, and Rhetoric from James Madison University.
