Andrea Accogli began their career in 2013 as a member of the Salento Racing Team at the Università del Salento. In 2014, they became a student at the Politecnico di Torino. In 2017, they joined Valeo as a Validation Engineer and Stagista ricerca. In 2019, they became the Head of Quality Assurance Department and a Testing and Quality Engineer at BionIT Labs, a startup which applies Information Technologies to Bionics in order to Turn disabilities into New Possibilities. Adam's Hand, an innovative myoelectric upper-limb prosthesis, is the first device developed by BionIT Labs.
Andrea Accogli obtained a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering from Università del Salento in 2014. Andrea then obtained an IELTS 6.0 certification from the British Council in December 2014. Andrea went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, which they completed in 2017.
