Chiara Panico has been working in the engineering field since 2017. In 2017, they completed a three-year internship at the Laboratory of Experimental Mechanics in Casarano (LE). In 2018, they joined Metaltecna srl as a Mechanical Design Engineer. In 2021, they joined BionIT Labs as a CAD & Simulation Engineer. At BionIT Labs, they work on the development of Adam's Hand, the world's first adaptive bionic prosthesis, and an AI algorithm to improve its usability.
Chiara Panico has a background in education that includes a Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Meccanica from Università del Salento, a Laurea Triennale in Ingegneria Industriale from Università del Salento, and a Maturità Classica from Liceo Classico Pietro Colonna, Galatina.
