Gianluca D'Amico has been working in the IT industry since 2007. From 2007 to 2019, they worked at SI.EL. Service as a Specialized Technician and Installer, an Electronic Technician and Installer, and an Electronic Technician. In 2019, they joined Apphia s.r.l. as a Software Developer. Currently, they are the Head of Software Development Dept at BionIT Labs, a startup which applies Information Technologies to Bionics. Gianluca is responsible for the development of Adam's Hand, an innovative myoelectric upper-limb prosthesis.
Gianluca D'Amico attended the ITIS E.Fermi, Lecce (Italy) from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Secondary School Diploma in IT with a field of study in Computer Science. Gianluca then attended the Università degli Studi di Bari from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained a Graduation in Computer Science with a field of study in Computer Science.
