Giovanni Antonio Zappatore

Giovanni Antonio Zappatore has had a diverse work experience. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Tech Member of Salento Racing Team, where they were responsible for the design and optimization of the steering and suspension systems of SRT15 and SRT16, as well as the CAD modeling of SRT16. During this same period, they were also a Tutor of Industrial Technical Drawing at Università del Salento. In 2018, they became the CEO & Founder of BionIT Labs, a medtech Italian company which applies Information Technologies to Bionics. At BionIT Labs, they developed Adam's Hand, the World's First Fully-Adaptive Bionic Hand, as well as a proprietary AI algorithm to further improve its ease of use. In 2019, they joined Da Vinci IoT as a Member of the Management Board.

Giovanni Antonio Zappatore obtained their Bachelor's degree from Università del Salento in Ingegneria industriale between 2010 and 2014. Giovanni Antonio then received an I level degree from the School of Advanced Studies ISUFI in the Natural Science Area from 2010 to 2015. In 2014, they earned their Master's degree from Università del Salento in Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Propulsion. Lastly, they obtained their Phd from Università del Salento in Complex Systems in 2018. Additionally, they hold a certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment called "First".
