Brooke Best

Brooke Best has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Brooke is currently working at Bionix® as a Financial Controller, where they supervise the accounting team, improves accounting processes, and ensures GAAP and legal compliance. Brooke also provides financial and informational reports and assists departments with process improvements and ERP issues. Prior to this, they were an Accounting Manager at Bionix® from March 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Bionix®, Brooke worked as a Senior Accountant at Anatrace from June 2019 to February 2021. Brooke was responsible for various accounting tasks during their time there.

Brooke also gained experience as a Corporate and Payroll Accountant at Bionix Development Corporation from February 2018 to June 2019. Brooke handled corporate accounting and payroll responsibilities in this role.

Earlier in their career, Brooke worked as an Accountant at The Senator Group from April 2017 to February 2018. Brooke contributed to various accounting functions during their tenure.

Brooke began their career at Walgreens, where they worked as a Functional Lead from October 2003 to March 2017.

Brooke Best completed their education history with a Master's Degree in Accountancy from The University of Toledo, which they obtained from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Davis College from 2016 to 2018, specializing in Accounting and Business/Management. Before starting their career in accounting, Brooke earned a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Kent State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Brooke has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Brooke completed a course on "Balancing Work and Life" from LinkedIn in June 2022. In May 2021, they obtained a certification in "Icebreakers for Teams, Meetings, and Groups" from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in April 2021, they completed a course titled "The Mindful Workday" from LinkedIn.
