Mark Caris

Quality Engineer at Bionix Development Corporation

Mark Caris has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mark most recently worked at Bionix as a Quality Engineer, starting in January 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Gendron, Inc. as a Quality Systems and NCM Engineering Coordinator from October 2017 to January 2020. In 2017, they briefly worked as a Package Handler at UPS for a few months. Before that, Mark worked at Norplas Industries from October 2014 to May 2017, where they served as a Sequencing and Ergonomics Co-Op. During their time at Norplas, they were responsible for redesigning tools and processes to improve ergonomics, designing testing procedures, creating ergonomic tools using SolidWorks, and implementing a LEAN working environment. Mark also collaborated with the corporate Ergonomist to start an office ergonomics program and worked on improving ergonomics for a new work area. Prior to Norplas, Mark worked as a Prep Cook at Pisanellos Pizza from May 2012 to May 2013.

Mark Caris attended The University of Toledo from 2012 to 2017, where they studied Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Mark obtained their Certified Quality Management System Lead Auditor certification from Omnex Inc in December 2020. In March 2022, Mark Caris received their Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Six Sigma USA. Mark also obtained their Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification from the American Society for Quality in April 2023.
