Sam Shiu

Sam Shiu, CISSP, currently serves as the Head of Information Security at Amicus Therapeutics, where a global information security program aligned with ISO 27001 and NIST 800-53 guidelines was established. Sam has held various influential roles in information security across several organizations, including positions as Co-Chair of the BioNJ Cybersecurity Committee and Advisory Board Member for the Cybersecurity Certification Program at Pace University. Previous experience includes managerial roles at KPMG, Societe Generale US, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where significant advancements were made in security incident response and forensic investigation capabilities. Sam's educational background includes a Master of Science in Technology Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
