Kathryn Menefee

Counsel, Income Security at National Women's Law Center

Kathryn Menefee is a legal professional with extensive experience in advocacy and legal research, particularly in the areas of income security and workplace justice. Currently serving as a Legal Fellow on the Income Security Team at the National Women's Law Center since August 2020, Kathryn previously held roles as a legal intern on the Workplace Justice Team and a McCleary Law Fellow at the Human Rights Campaign. Kathryn's expertise includes drafting legal documents, researching legislation related to LGBTQ rights, and analyzing workplace harassment laws. Previous experience also includes internships at the EEOC and the U.S. Department of the Interior, where Kathryn managed caseloads and contributed to policy discussions. Kathryn holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from The University of Texas at Austin.
