Pedro Irazoqui

Pedro Irazoqui is a Program Manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) since January 2024. Currently serving as a Faculty Member at The Johns Hopkins University since July 2021, Irazoqui is also a CoFounder of bionode since January 2016. Previously, Irazoqui held multiple roles at Purdue University from June 2005 to June 2021, including Reilly Professor, Director of the Center for Implantable Devices, Interim Head of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Associate Head for Research, as well as positions as Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Neural Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles (1999-2003), a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire (1997-1999), and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire (1993-1997).
