Christophe Betton

Christophe Betton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the life sciences and technology sectors. Currently serving as Director, Solutions Architect at BioNTech SE since March 2024, Christophe previously held the position of Principal Scientist at EMD Serono, Inc. for over a decade, where responsibilities included product management for the Merck Clinical Analytics Platform and the management of complex global projects. Prior to that, Christophe was a Principal Scientist at Merck Serono, leading a team of engineers to design and implement a new Healthcare Discovery data platform. Early career roles include a Consultant at Thales Services focused on new technology, IT management at Pierre Fabre and UroGene, and a cheminformatics engineer at Chrysalon. Educationally, Christophe holds a Master of Science in cheminformatics, computer science, and mathematics, as well as a Master of Advanced Studies in Molecular, Cellular Biology, Bioinformatics, and Structural Biology, both from the University of Strasbourg.
