Claudia Ouyang

Claudia Ouyang is a highly skilled professional in the field of immunology and gene therapies, currently serving as Senior Director of Cell & Gene Therapies at BioNTech SE since August 2021, following a role as Director of Cell Therapy at Kite Pharma. Prior to this, Claudia held various positions including Director of Cell Biology and Senior Research Scientist at Kite Pharma, and Scientist in Immuno-oncology at Intrexon Corporation, where preclinical CAR-T development was a focus. Claudia's expertise extends to co-stimulatory signaling in T cell function gained during a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Disease, along with experience as Scientific Director (Volunteer) at Rare Genomics Institute, where significant funding was raised for rare disease research.
