Dr. Christoph Prinz is a seasoned expert in quality management within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Vice President Global Quality at BioNTech SE since April 2020. With extensive experience overseeing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across international teams and manufacturing sites, Dr. Prinz's leadership encompasses both clinical and commercial products, including personalized mRNA therapies, antibodies, and cell & gene therapies. Prior to BioNTech, Dr. Prinz held various key roles at Minaris Regenerative Medicine GmbH, focusing on the certification and release of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) and leading quality management teams. Dr. Prinz's career began with a background in pharmaceutical development at Novartis and a foundational education in pharmacy from The Philipp University of Marburg.
