Anil Sawant

Anil Sawant currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at the Parenteral Drug Association and has held the position since January 2023. With extensive experience in quality compliance, Anil Sawant has been the Senior Vice President of Global Quality Compliance at Merck since July 2015, overseeing quality compliance for the Merck Manufacturing Division. Previous roles include Vice President positions at Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, focusing on regulatory compliance, quality management systems, and GXP compliance across various divisions. Anil Sawant holds a PhD in Microbial and Biochemical Sciences from Georgia State University and two degrees in Microbiology from Panjab University.
