Emilie Renaud currently serves as Associate Director of Histology Pathology R&D Preclinical Studies at BioNTech SE, having previously held the position of Senior Scientist in Histology Clinical Studies & Preclinical Research since November 2021. Prior to this role, Renaud was a Senior Research Associate in Translational Oncology at Universitätsmedizin Mainz, leading a proteogenomics project focused on identifying druggable targets and gene fusions in thyroid cancer. Renaud's earlier experience includes research at Technische Universität Darmstadt, where work involved establishing mouse models and imaging DNA repair mechanisms, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship at Gustave Roussy, focusing on the roles of Fanconi Anemia proteins in DNA repair and cancer. Renaud completed a PhD in Life Sciences at Université Paris Cité and holds a Master’s degree from Université de Bordeaux.
