Karl Klinger

Karl Klinger, PhD, is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry with a strong background in research and team leadership. Currently serving as Associate Director of Formulation Functionalization at BioNTech SE since December 2020, Klinger leads a team focused on protein-based targeting. Previously, Klinger was a Senior Research Scientist and team leader at Mirexus Biotechnologies Inc., where responsibilities included managing a chemical research team, developing research strategies, and overseeing academic collaborations.
