Michael Megel

Michael Megel currently serves as the Associate Director of IT Data Analytics Platform Architecture at BioNTech SE since May 2023. Prior to this, Michael held various roles at COSMO CONSULT from April 2016 to April 2023, including Enterprise Architect and DevOps Engineer, where responsibilities included supporting international teams with application lifecycle management and complex integrations, as well as delivering talks on Microsoft technologies at international conferences. Michael also worked as a Cloud & Software Architect for "Intelligent ERP," focusing on developing a data-science-as-a-service platform, and served as a Business Development Manager, collaborating on product portfolio expansion and innovation analysis. Earlier in a career spanning from July 2003 to March 2016, Michael was a Senior Software Developer at SYSTEMA Systementwicklung, specializing in .NET applications. Educationally, Michael holds a Diplom Informatiker (FH) degree in Computer Science from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden, completed in 2002.
