Neha Agrawal, PhD, currently serves as Associate Director of Translational Sciences at BioNTech SE, focusing on developing biomarker strategies for infectious disease vaccines. Previously, Neha held roles as a Scientist within the Infectious Disease Vaccine Unit and as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology and the National Institute of Biomedical Genomics, where responsibilities included leading preclinical projects, managing international collaborations, and conducting biomarker discovery. Neha's research contributions span the identification of immune suppressive mechanisms in cancer immunotherapy and the development of mRNA vaccines. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Infection Immunology and a Master’s in Biotechnology, both from Banaras Hindu University.
