Philipp Burt

Philipp Burt is currently a Bioinformatics Scientist at BioNTech SE, a position held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Philipp was a Doctoral Researcher at the German Rheumatism Research Center from May 2018 to February 2023. Philipp also served as an Academic Tutor in Mathematics and Biostatistics at the Institute of Theoretical Biology, HU Berlin, from December 2015 to February 2018. Additionally, a Visiting Researcher at the University of California San Diego from September 2016 to March 2017, Philipp holds a Doktor (Ph.D.) in Theoretical Biophysics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, attained in 2022, as well as a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biophysics from the same institution in 2018 and a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics completed in 2014. In 2012, Philipp also participated as a visiting student at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.
