Rebecca Lam

Rebecca Lam is an Associate Director of Scientific/Medical Writing at BioNTech SE since September 2020, where responsibilities include managing and writing clinical regulatory documents related to the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, infectious disease vaccines, cancer immunotherapies, and protein-based therapeutics, as well as mentoring junior medical writers. Previously, Rebecca served as a Manager in Scientific/Medical Writing at the same company and held the position of Senior Editor at KI Group, overseeing English-language publications in the plastics industry. Rebecca’s academic background includes extensive research experience as a Neuroscientist at the Max Planck Institute of Biophysics and postdoctoral roles at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen and the University of Alberta, where Rebecca obtained a PhD in Physiology.
