Valentina Petrocelli

Valentina Petrocelli is a scientist currently working at BioNTech SE since October 2022. Prior to this role, Valentina served as a postdoctoral researcher at Chemotherapeutisches Forschungszentrum "Georg-Speyer-Haus" from September 2018 to September 2022 and at IFOM, the FIRC Institute for Molecular Oncology, from April 2016 to August 2018. Valentina's academic background includes a PhD in Molecular Medicine with a focus on Molecular Oncology from Università degli Studi di Milano, completed in 2016, and a Master's degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Sapienza Università di Roma. The formative education at Sapienza was concluded with a Master Thesis in May 2011.
