Christos Skrekas

Christos Skrekas, PhD, is a Research Scientist at Melt&Marble since February 2023. Prior to this role, Christos held the position of Research Engineer at Chalmers tekniska högskola from March 2018 to January 2023, focusing on the Division of Systems and Synthetic Biology. In addition to this, Christos contributed as a Research Scientist at Biopetrolia from June 2017 to February 2018. Christos completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Synthetic Biology at Chalmers University of Technology between March 2018 and October 2022, following a Master’s Degree in Genomics and Systems Biology at the University of Gothenburg from 2015 to 2017, and a Bachelor’s Degree in General Biology from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 2009 to 2014. Upper Secondary Education in Natural Sciences was completed at the 2nd Experimental High School of Athens from 2005 to 2008.
