David Bergenholm

David Bergenholm is a Senior Scientist at Melt&Marble since December 2020 and a Co-founder of D2Biotech, which specializes in small-scale high-throughput fermentation systems, established as a spin-off from a PhD project. Previous experience includes serving as a PhD student in Systems & Synthetic Biology at Chalmers University of Technology from 2014 to 2020, and working as a Research Assistant at Linköping University, where David also led initiatives in synthetic biology and provided guidance for iGEM teams. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology from Chalmers University and a Master’s degree in Technical Biology from Linköping University.
