Päivi Malinen

Päivi Malinen is the current Director at Bioretec. Prior to this, they were the Head of GRC at Springvest Oy from October 2016 to April 2019, and before that, the Chairman of the Board of Directors from March 2014 to October 2016. Before their time at Springvest Oy, they were the Senior Legal Counsel at Ilmarinen from December 2013 to March 2016, where they provided legal advise for their 100 person investment organization. Prior to Ilmarinen, they were the Legal Counsel at Fondia Oy from March 2008 to November 2013. At Fondia, they led one of the teams in their M&A practice and was responsible for marketing, selling, planning, coordinating and executing M&A projects, transactions and financing arrangements for the client companies. Päivi also acted as an account manager coordinating the provision of services for the clients they were responsible for and as a dedicated legal department lawyer giving legal advice, drafting and commenting agreements and other legal documents. In addition to their ordinary daily work, they also took part in various service development projects, including drafting model documents and articles for the VirtualLawyer service.

Päivi Malinen has a Master of Laws from Helsingin yliopisto and a Marticulation Examination from Sammon Lukio.
