Helen Swainston

Helen Swainston is a highly experienced medical writer with over two decades in the field. Currently serving as Principal Medical Writer at Bioscript since November 2016, Helen previously held the position of Senior Medical Writer at Bioscript Stirling from January 2012 to November 2016 and at Gardiner Caldwell Communications from 2003 to 2011. Helen’s early career includes a role as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Manchester, focusing on pharmacokinetic research, as well as being a PhD student at the University of Liverpool. Helen holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bradford and a BTEC HND in Science (Applied Biology) from De Montfort University. Education was completed at All Saints RC School (A levels) and St Peter's RC School (O Levels).
