Simon Taylor

Simon graduated from Columbia College (Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude and John Jay Scholar) and from Harvard Law School. He was born in England and grew up in California in Palo Alto and Lodi in the state’s Central Valley. Simon provides expertise in three complementary areas: (a) law, in the fields of corporate, securities, general business, technology, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital law; (b) investment banking and venture capital finance; and (c) consulting to companies, executive teams, entrepreneurs and inventors and holders of intellectual property.

From 1988 to 2004, Simon was an attorney with the law firm Snow Becker Krauss in New York, which he joined as a partner and where he became of counsel in 1995, when he founded a venture capital advisory firm. He formed his own law firm in July 2004 as an outgrowth of the practice he built at Snow Becker. Prior to Snow Becker, Simon was an attorney with Finley, Kumble, Wagner, then the largest law firm in the United States. Since April 2000, Simon has served as President and principal of the investment bank ACN Securities Inc., which has offices in New York and California. ACN is a member of FINRA and is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

His consulting firm, Integrative Consulting LLC, focuses on technology commercialization and venture opportunities involving U.S. national laboratories, universities and other research institutions and strategic partners and investors in the U.S., Japan and other countries and provides advice to companies and executive and technology teams on ventures and transactions and strategy and innovation. Integrative brings to bear senior professional skills, high-level domain expertise, financing and cross-border capabilities.
