Leanne Bakke

Leanne Bakke is a seasoned professional in the fields of biomedical innovation and education, currently serving as the Co-founder and CEO of BioSim Innovations since June 2021, where the focus is on providing innovative preclinical services for medical therapies. Prior experience includes being the Director of BioSim Innovations at Switchback Medical, where efforts were centered on designing and developing tissue-based models for enhancing medical device development. At Concordia University-St. Paul, extensive contributions were made as a Science Professor and Administrator, fostering research programs, creating new laboratories, and enhancing science education. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Molecular Physiology from Michigan State University, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Valparaiso University, and an MBA from Concordia University-St. Paul.
