Steven Knapp

Dr. Steven Knapp brings to Biosion over 30 years of experience in the Regulatory and Quality aspects of pharmaceutical/biologic development and commercialization. He’s worked on countless global NDAs and BLAs while at both large pharmaceutical and smaller pre-IPO companies. He’s also worked on a number of partnerships and alliances with other firms to aid in the process of collaborative later-phase product development.

His recent roles included the SVP of global Regulatory and Quality at Antares Pharmaceuticals in Princeton NJ, and prior to that, he held a similar role at Valeant. At Ikaria, Dr. Knapp moved their development programs forward and participated in the deal leading to its successful sale to Mallinckodt. Dr. Knapp was also involved with BMS’s partnership with Imclone resulting in global approvals.

Steven holds a BS in Pharmacy, an MS in Industrial Engineering and a PharmD all from Rutgers University. He also teaches courses at the graduate school as well. He is a member of the Rho Chi honor society at Rutgers.
