Viren Amin

Viren Amin is a seasoned professional in genomic data engineering and bioinformatics, currently employed at BioSkryb Genomics since June 2021. Previous experience includes serving as Bioinformatics Lead at Baebies, where contributions were made to the clinical informatics program for Newborn Screening, and completing a postdoctoral fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center, focusing on a regulatory inference tool using RNA-seq data. Earlier roles include a position as Bioinformatics Research Assistant at Baylor College of Medicine, leading integrative analyses for the Roadmap Epigenomics Project. Viren Amin holds a PhD in Human Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine, a Master’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from The University of Texas at Dallas, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers University.
