Christine Althaber

Christine Althaber is an experienced laboratory manager currently serving at BioSTL since September 2025, where responsibilities include client support, lab equipment and space management, and ensuring readiness for new client transitions. Prior to this role, Christine held the position of Procurement and Facilities Manager at Confluence Genetics, focusing on procurement, supply chain operations, facility management, and regulatory compliance. From January 2017 to May 2025, Christine worked at Benson Hill as Operations Lead and Cross-Functional Laboratory Manager, overseeing lab operations while ensuring a safe working environment. Early career experiences include positions as Contract Biologist at Rose International with Monsanto and Lab Technician at the MU Soybean Genetics & Genomics Laboratory. Christine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
